FeeddigestBin playing which is why there's not much activity here again.
Toy 1 is Feed Digest. I'm using this for the various SCSA and Nascar news and views pages on my site plus crafts stuff on Yvonne's Cards. This is the latest incarnation from RSS Feeds which took over from my first supplier who seem to have disappeared. The new version is so flexible and the ability for someone like me to have mixed feeds on one page is neat. Its so easy to set up and coding for HTML pages is simple its well worth any one trying. Its so good I upgraded from the free version to support the work even though in most cases what I actually need is F...R...E...E, Well worth a look for any level of web builder.
Toy 2 is an add yourown site to a links page for my site. Tottaly unnecessary really but again something for me hack about with. Different to the Links style on Yvonne's site - this is more like a directory.
Toys 3 & 4 are for Yvonne's Cards being the shopping basket that I started a while ago and the ongoing order tracking system. I'm now working on getting the orders to go straight into a tracking system that customers can access via password or e-mail address and ticket no.
With work now full time, home office hours are at a premium.

Quintessentially BritishLove that expression.
Anyway after mentioning my regular attendance at the bottom of the BritBlog hit parade, they've started a group BritBlog Album for members to show off Great British images. Needless to say I've introduced them to the wonders of oval racing - let's face BriSCA F1 is unique and British to boot. Enough jingoism for now.
Also a British pastime is the love of the vagaries of the weather. I've been an avid watcher of the link to the BBC weather page for Corby to see what the prospects for Rockingham on Sunday are. Having thought that me buying tickets well in advance would be the kiss of death the black cloud that was forcast has turned into a sunny cloud. So fingers crossed but still time for the wind to change.

Apprehension and successTo keep myself versed with what's happening with the development of emAlbum had a look at the support forum this morning and saw that version 1.3 has been released. When v1.2 came out and I downloaded it I lost access to the gallery completely. Not a fault of the script more than our web hosts server doesn't have all the whistle and bells that the album can and does use.
I've therefore been using a modified v1.1 for our 2 sites.
So it was with some trepidation I downloaded the upgrade onto the server for my site - having retained the existing folders on the server but renamed in case I needed to resurrect the albums in a hurry.
Its very pleasing to report that all the mods have been accepted and as far as I can see the gallery still works and has added functionality.
So just need to find a time to change the one on Yvonne's site as that seems constantly in use!
