In my younger days, I got to hear of Cale Yarborough and Richard Petty - mainly thanks to 1/2 hour on a saturday afternoon once a year courtesy of "World of Sport" who also gave live coverage of a few F1 European Championships from Brafield/ Northampton.


Although not an avid supported of NASCAR, I've always thought that if I had the cash I'd journey to Daytona in February for the season starter and the "500". I'm still waiting!
